Library Course Reserves gets update (same great service)

(Posted August 22, 2024)

Memorial University Libraries has made enhancements to its course reserves service. The service provides Memorial’s students with a single point of access to the online e-resources, books, and digitized resources specific to their course directly through their BrightSpace course site without any extra cost.

Memorial’s faculty and instructors collaborate with librarians and library staff to curate and create engaging course reserves (articles, eBooks, streaming videos, open educational resources, and print books) by simply emailing their syllabus or required resources to their library branch.

The Libraries take care of processing the material, creating the list of readings, and ensuring copyright compliance by acquiring permissions for material not already covered by an existing license or that exceed Memorial University's Fair Dealing Requirements, where possible.
