Study Room Policy

The library offers a variety of single and group study rooms.

Rooms may be reserved online up to three days in advance using your MUN email address. You may book a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum of two hours.

Study rooms are not soundproof. Please keep conversations and device volumes low.

Leave the space neat and ready for the next person. Avoid attaching anything to walls or windows.

If a room is reserved but left empty, staff may release the booking for others to use and will remove any items left behind.

Keep your personal items with you at all times; the library is not responsible for belongings left in study rooms.

Keys for these rooms are checked out to graduate students at the Library Services Desk for the duration of the semester.
  • Although the door locks, do not consider the room secure. Do not leave personal belongings unattended.
  • Failure to return the key will result in a non-refundable $10.00 fee.
