The First Space Gallery in the QEII Library is currently exhibiting "Evolving into Deep Time" by retired QEII Library employee Joanne Cole. It shows the progression of Ms. Cole's artwork from beach rock to bedrock over a 30-year period. Ms. Cole has been the First Space Gallery coordinator since its inception over 20 years ago and worked in the QEII Library's Archives and Special Collections Division and the Map Room during her career. Her creative work and her library work are very much entwined as she draws inspiration from the archival materials she processes. This exhibit will be on display until December 15, 2021.
