Returns 

Book return bins/slots are located inside our libraries and in the following locations: 

• QEII Library front entrance 

• Grenfell Library front entrance 

• Health Sciences Library main entrance 

• Marine Institute main entrance and Library entrance 

• Music Resource Centre entrance (MU 2026) 

• Education Building (G. A. Hickman), Door 6 (entrance facing the QEII Library) 

• Labrador Campus Library main entrance 

Books can also be returned to any college or university library in Atlantic Canada that is a CAAL-CBPA member. 

Please contact us if you need to make alternate arrangements. 

Fines 

We have no late fees for most of our collection. However, there may be a charge for late reserve items, recalled items, and lost books. Overdue reserve fines of $2 per hour may apply for some items on physical reserve. 

Lost items 

Items that are more than 4 weeks overdue are considered lost and incur a $150 fee and a suspension of your library account. If you find and return the item, we will remove the lost item fee from your account. Contact your library to pay a lost item fee and reactivate your library account.
