Centre for Newfoundland Studies
The Centre for Newfoundland Studies provides an adaptable service model that offers one-on-one individualized help and material retrieval for all users. We have a wheelchair accessible Information Desk and study space, and a sensory sensitive workspace option.
We collect Newfoundland and Labrador publications broadly, including government documents on disability rights, memoirs, reports and more that support local representation, research and understanding of the experiences of people with disabilities in our province.
For use of assistive technology with our materials, we work closely with The Commons to accommodate any accessibility needs.
