What I do at Memorial Libraries
I help our students and faculty navigate research questions and find the information that they need. I offer one-on-one support at our research and citation help desk, and I deliver library guest lectures tailored to specific disciplines and courses every semester on topics including:
- Evaluating information, and mis/disinformation
- Generative AI
- Conducting searches in academic databases
- Citation styles and citation management
- Academic Integrity
- Library resources and services
I strive to foster a thriving academic community, and I also participate in and organize events in the library and at the Grenfell Campus more broadly. Additionally, I manage the Grenfell Library’s social media channels.
More about me
I hold an MA in English Literature (Queen’s University), and an MI concentrating in Library and Information Science (University of Toronto). I am an editor for the Canadian Journal of Academic Librarianship and a board member with WritersNL. My research and creative work range widely; recently, I have been exploring topics in critical AI literacy, digital media literacy, and wellbeing in academic spaces.
